Located at the geographical centre of the UK - Leeds is described as the financial capital of the North and one of the fastest growing cities in Europe.

Leeds has received a string of accolades including The UK's Favourite City (Cond Nast The Traveller magazine) and Britain's Best City for Business (OMIS Research).

A nationwide survey of major employers, carried out by OMIS Research, has named Leeds as Britain's Best City for Business ahead of 27 other UK cities.

The city is recognised as the regional capital of Yorkshire and the Humber, an area with a population of around five million - similar to that of Scotland or Denmark.
